We are Radhika Vyas and John O’Mahoney, the husband-and-wife team behind The Twin Flames Experience. Creating together since 2018, we bring dance, music, theater, and fire into worlds you can step inside.

It began with two artists.
And a shared spark.
Our partnership in life and our creative journey began together in 2018. We arrived with different artistic histories and a shared fascination with what happens when an audience becomes part of a story.
Radhika brought dance, choreography, music, and movement. John brought acting, directing, immersive theater, and fire. In creating together, we found a language that belonged to both of us: movement could reveal a character, fire could mark a transformation, and a performance could invite people into another world.
Our earliest collaborations included Hades & Persephone, an original theatrical fire performance at Capitale in New York City, and an immersive fire experience for BABËL, a music and arts collective. These projects brought our disciplines together through character, movement, and fire, laying the foundation for what would become Twin Flames.

BUILDING TWIN FLAMES
From a partnership to a company of possibilities.
A shared vision takes shape.
As we continued creating, our work expanded from performing together to producing, directing, choreographing, and leading ensembles of multidisciplinary artists. We have brought that collaboration to private events, festivals, weddings, and public experiences, shaping both intimate encounters and larger shared moments.
The Twin Flames Experience grew from that practice. It holds our work as a duo alongside the artists and collaborators we bring together around each vision. We also continue to create and perform with John’s longtime mentor, Flambeaux, as part of the Flambeaux Fire enclave.
Distinct instincts. Shared direction.
We approach each idea through the lens of our individual artistry. Radhika’s sense of rhythm, choreography, and musical expression meets John’s instinct for character, dramatic structure, and audience participation. Movement informs the story; the story gives movement its purpose.
We bring those perspectives into a shared creative process, shaping music, movement, wardrobe, and visual design alongside the setting and guest interactions. Together, we shape every detail, from a single performance to a fully immersive event.

Our collaboration continues beyond the stage. We shape concepts, rehearse, direct artists, and connect the creative vision with the planning that brings it to life. We work with clients, planners, venues, and creative partners to understand the occasion and build an experience around the people who will be there.
At the center of it all is a simple invitation: enter the story. Whether guests are dancing with their families, encountering a character, or stepping into a portrait world, we want them to leave with a memory they helped create.

Movement as
storytelling.
Radhika is an Indian-American multidisciplinary artist and performer with a rich artistic lineage. Her work spans dance, choreography, voice, theater, and fire, drawing on classical traditions and contemporary expression.
She began Bharata Natyam as a very young child before studying classical Odissi for twelve years under Guru Sudha Grover at Sudhamini Dance Academy. Her training there also included introductory Kathak; folk traditions such as Garba, Raas, Bhangra, Gidda, Lavni, and Ghumar; and semi-classical, contemporary Bollywood, and popular dance. She competed extensively with the Academy, including in an early edition of Naya Andaz, the long-running Bollywood dance competition.
In 2009, her performance in the opening ceremony of the South Asian Theater Festival at NJPAC led to a personal invitation from choreographer and Odissi master Sanchita Chatterjee of Nriti Kala Kendra, India. Recognizing her promise as a dancer, choreographer, and future teacher, Chatterjee gifted her private masterclasses focused on teaching Odissi to young children.
Her musical background encompasses Western classical choral performance, including performances in Europe, and study in Hindustani classical music. A recording artist with several tracks to her credit, she has recorded at New York City’s Platinum and Quad studios and collaborated internationally with artists and music industry professionals. Her work has also included music video appearances and a shoot in Ibiza for one of her own tracks.
While living in Manhattan, she continued private vocal training and studied dancehall extensively with internationally recognized dancer and choreographer Blacka Di Danca. She also performed as a dancer at festivals presented by Mad Decent, the record label founded by internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Diplo.
Her movement vocabulary extends to hip hop, jazz, heels, Latin, Afro, and Acroyoga. Across classical dance, Bollywood, contemporary movement, and fire performance, she uses choreography to shape character, atmosphere, and emotion. This connection between rhythm, voice, and movement informs her work on stage and the celebrations she choreographs.

John O’Mahoney

John is a performer, director, producer, and fire artist with more than twenty-five years of experience creating immersive theatrical worlds. A graduate of Syracuse University’s BFA Acting program, his work invites audiences into the action.
His performance credits include a lead role in Queen of the Night at The Diamond Horseshoe and longstanding fire-performance work at The Box and House of Yes.
As a director and producer, he brought Buenos Aires’ Torres Gemelas to the United States at Rubulad, wrote and directed the four-part immersive series Dimensions, and has produced PYNK Festival’s signature fire show since 2019. For Elements Festival’s The Elemental Experience, he brought together story, props, rigging, and audience participation to create a world from the ground up.
He also served as associate producer and talent liaison for the Canon-sponsored short film Live Your Light, which won multiple festival awards and screened at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
